Now Paper goes Bananas!

Now Paper goes Bananas!

You must be aware that banana is good for health. Many people say that two bananas daily  is a healthy habit. So, In Banana cultivation farms, once the fruits are sold off, what lies behind are the stems of the plants. Farmers had to pay a lot of money to clear them off. Now you must be thinking why am I focusing on banana stems? What is the use of Banana stems?

Let me clear your doubts, a new technology plant has managed to manufacture paper out of these banana stems! So, farmers no longer have to pay to clear their land of stems, but instead are now making money out of it.

This new process of making paper  is flourishing in many states like Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

Now the agricultural department will also train people of Patna to make paper out of banana fibers. 108 applications have been submitted by agricultural centers in 9 districts of Bihar.

According to the departmental officers, the applications have been given by the district agricultural centres of Katihar, Khagariya, Saran, Samastipur, Bhagalpur, Vaishali, Begusarai, Purnea, Muzaffarpur.

This sounds really good. It’s a very creative and good idea to manufacture paper out of banana stems. In this way, we can save plants as well as undesirable money of the farmers. I hope this new technology flourishes in Bihar soon.
