Schools and Parents

Schools and Parents

Sir

Several schools in Calcutta are keeping an eye on the behaviour of the parents during the admission interviews for their children.. This innovative move will definitely help school authorities keep track of where parents are going wrong in their behaviour towards their wards. The home is a child’s first school, as the first lessons in life are learnt at home. Hence, parents’ role in the education of their children is most significant.

A lot of parents in present times adopt questionable modes of parenting. They impose their own wishes upon their children and rear them in a straitjacketed manner, thus affecting their self-esteem. Worse, they fail to see the harm they are unwittingly doing to their children.

Often, in order to placate children throwing tantrums, parents offer them expensive toys or make outrageous promises. Other parents deal with the same situation by resorting to physical violence, thus instilling fear in the mind of the child. Neither of these approaches is desirable. If children are not brought up in a balanced manner, they may act out during adulthood.

Many who do not get the right kind of upbringing may resort to criminal activities later. Observing the parents’ behaviour during the early stages can help avert a lot of these problems.

Yours Truly

It’s been truely said that “charity begins at home” ,and parents are indeed the first mentor of their child so it’s really important that they treat their wards carefully as their negative attitude can have a adverse effect on them.

As we know parents are the first teachers of children, if the school notices the behaviour of the students’ parents it is easy to build their future in good shape.

There’s an enormous body of research and studies on the positive impact of parent partnerships and student success not just in school but throughout life. We cannot educate our children without reaching out to their parents. When schools and families work together, children have a far better chance of not only being successful in school but being successful in life as well. I like to say there are three R’s to effective partnerships. I call those respect, responsibility and relationships.

Parents are the first teacher of their child. They are the one with whom children spend most of their time ,especially in their initial age. So ,it is a appreciable decision because if the parents put any kind of pressure on them during the time of their upbringing then it can be a cause of depression and any criminal offence.

Childhood is a very sensitive phase, where one can learn and can be brought up for future. It is a time when one can mould the future of their children and parents are the crucial part of it. Due to imposing their desires its difficult for there kids to survive. Children have their own interests and passion,it’s about their ability to do what they can. No one can live happily without their passion and dreams. Young parents can change this monotony of the society.

Parents play an important role in the lives of their children and we also know that they are the first and continuing educators of their children. So by working together, parents and teachers can accomplish more healthy changes.

Needless to say “charity begins at home”, This is really a great step to enhance the upbringing methodology for the children, it not only going to help
the children but also to the parents by simply providing them right knowledge and right way to bring their children up indeed.

A great and I think an effective step,as we know that parents are the first teachers for a child, before going to school they learn basic things from their parents. So, keeping an eye on parents behaviour will help in shaping the future of the child.

Children learn what they see. So the behaviour of the parents are important in the upbringing of a child. It is a good step towards the proper upbringing of children.

It is a good way of shaping a child’s future because what we learn as a child ,we become a person like that .A balanced parenting can do so as it is said home is the child’s first school.
