Medal brought the festive environment at my home: Aarushi Jaiswal

Aarushi Jaiswal, student of St. Xavier’s college of Mgmt. & Tech. (SXCMT) from department of mass communication was facilitated with gold medal by Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU) for her excellence in academics. She scored 8.62 CGPA.

The convocation was held on September 28, at Bapu Sabhaghar of Samrat Ashok Convention Center, Patna. Lal ji Tandon, governor as well as the chancellor of AKU presented the winners their medals and certificates. Education minister Krishna Nandan Parsad and health minister Mangal Panday were also the guest for the occasion.

“I was in Delhi when I got the news that I had won the gold medal. I really cannot explain how excited I was, it was just awesome for me” said Aarushi.

She is the first one from the mass communication department of SXCMT to be awarded with gold medal.

“My mother and my mama ji (maternal uncle) are the biggest support of my life and have always encouraged me. The happiness they felt and the proud they have on my achievement are the main reasons of my happiness apart from my medal. Even my college Principal Fr. Rev. T. Nishaant and my coordinator, Ms. Neerja Lal called me and expressed their happiness  and praised me” she told.

She opted Mass communication because of her interest. Areas of her main interest were video editing and content writing. Currently she is doing job as a content writer in a local news channel in Delhi. Further she wants to pursue her studies, complete Post graduation and she aspires to be a professor.

“There is environment of festival at my home from the day I got the gold medal, everyone is really happy at my home and the hard work I did paid off as this award” she added.

With Aarushi Jaiswal, Nihal Kumar (BCom-professional) and Sanju Kumari (bachelor of business economics) of St. Xavier’s college of Mgmt. & Tech. also won gold medals.
