Two-faced Monsoon?

Two-faced Monsoon?

Sir,

The monsoon season has brought lots of fun and enjoyment. It gives relief from the excessive heat and temperature.  People enjoy the rain, sipping  hot tea and having snacks with their family.

For children, its time for indoor games, reading novels, chess, story telling etc. People are seen with colourful umbrellas and rain coats.

But as every coin has two sides, the monsoon also has its two sides. On the one hand it brings happiness whereas on the other, excessive rain creates a lot of problems.

The rainy season is also known as a season of allergies. The wet clothes and moist weather leads to itching, rashes and many other diseases malaria and dengue.

Water logging is common in the rainy season, not a single day passes without dreading in it. Water logging also brings traffic jams, traffic moves at a snail’s pace. Thus it is a real headache to move out in the  monsoons.

Not only this, but in the markets, the price of vegetable is at its peak, as many crops are destroyed by the rain.  The poor have a real hard time when the vegetables prices create a hole in their pockets.

Excessive rain also brings floods and many homes are destroyed by the floods. It leaves the poor crying and thinking about their losses.

The government should take care that every pothole, roads and ditch is repaired so that the rain water does not stagnate. It should also rehabilitate the poor when their homes are destroyed.

Yours truly

Rain brings problems,as the condition of roads are so worse that people think twice before going out. It also brings diseases etc.
But I think the reason behind the problem is not rain. Rain has its own Beauty and importance.
