Sir,

It is high time that well-educated and sensible people are elected to the legislature, and not just anybody who happens to be given a party ticket.

The irresponsible and at times stupid views of MLAs and MPs makes us ashamed and embarrassed. How can we say that India should march on towards a bright future, if the leaders of the government cannot sift fact from fiction, or myth from reality?

But I don’t see the future being very bright unless our huge population gets rid of ignorance and  superstition as well.
