Well, well, well, dearies! The international day against homophobia has passed us by without a whimper, except for some overweight desi aunties posting some sentimental stuff on social media. Some  in the print  media did a couple of stories. The usual stuff, bleeding heart Obama, the Canadian Prime Minister, and all that jazz.

First we called it IDAHO, then we added the transgender community to the mix and it became IDAHOT, and now there’s a B for ‘bi’ also tagged on!

Okay, we all know that the Supreme Court judgement, which is terribly flawed, stuffed the homos back in the closet, only they’re in no mood to stay there. But what stopped the transgender community from making a noise about their special day, and lobbying with the government to promote non-discrimination against them?

Pardon me if I am bitchy but I think that the female to male transgender community are relegated to the background by a lot of homos dressed in saris! For heaven’s sake, wrapping a sari around you makes you just a cross-dresser. Don’t usurp transgender space. If you are really transgendered, then its about time you start thinking about sex reassignment surgery!

The problem with homophobes is that all their narrow little noodles can think about is ‘sex’! Idiots! These repressed fellows want to have a say on where you stuff your equipment, as though it’s all that matters!

BY the way, if you are transgender, then technically you’re not ‘homosexual’… because woman transgender usually doesn’t get it on with another one, or do they?

But let’s go beyond the banal. They are a variety of everyday things to consider: rest rooms, inheritance laws, housing rights, entrance to places of worship and so on.

It’s a long way to freedom, folks….any way, on IDAHO, here I am with a tall, chilled glass in one hand and a tall, hot one on the other, so between sip and sup, let’s give a shout the whole week long against Homophobia and Transphobia.
