The arson, and damage to the Nation’s wealth by so called ‘students’ is an Act of War
Enough is enough! To those are trying to find some devious political excuses to condone the burning of trains, and destruction of property happening in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and other places: why are you supporting a bunch of hooligans?
These passenger terrorizing, train burning, bus smashing packs of hyenas are no precursors of an ‘Arab spring‘ against the Narendra Modi goverment, as some hopeful commentators like to put it. They are the probably front runners of another pack of cowards: shady privately owned ‘army coaching institutes’ and local politicians, who are fishing in troubled waters, to spread chaos.
Why did these fellows suddenly appear at railway stations? Why terrorize passengers and and set fire to trains? Why attack the transport and communication lines of the country?
I’ll tell you why. Because obviously, the railway network has a skeleton force of Railway Police and security personnel that could be easily overwhelmed!
Okay, so you are pissed that the government hasn’t finished its recruitment process over the Covid-19 period. Okay, you want to protest. So why not write petitions, get a couple of great lawyers and move the courts? Why not go and ‘gherao’ the Ministry of Defence offices?
If these cowards had even an iota of courage, they should have marched outside the cantonment areas, they should have blockaded the roads in front of the army recruitment centres. Why didn’t they? Because they would have got their asses whipped, that’s why!
And as for all of you so-called liberal ‘bleeding hearts’ who are sitting on your high horses talking about how the army is going down the drain, get real!
The only thing bad about this Agnipath scheme is the filmy name. It’s one practical, solid way to address the myriad personnel and financial related headaches plaguing the armed forces. It’s a practical ‘Tour of Duty’ scheme, and a good one at that.
I may not like many things that the BJP, and some of its ministers and its cadre do. I find some of their statements gross and repulsive. I don’t want India to become a fascist state. I stand against the hate-speech and increasing intimidation of minorities.
The high-handed manner in which the scheme was introduced is unsatisfactory and unsavoury. There was no consultation with the political parties . Parliament was not consulted. But that is no excuse to play underhand political games, like egging on and backing those smashing up newly developed infrastructure.
I will never support a bunch of rioters, who are bent on destroying really expensive public utilities such as trains and electric buses.
These fellows are destroying what has that been built with honest taxpayers money. They are a bunch of goons and they deserve to be punished.
The Defence reforms like Agnipath have been long pending. The Tour of Duty scheme should have been implemented at least a decade ago. But weak coalition governments shied away from taking bold decisions. The Ministry of Defence has made it clear that the scheme won’t be rolled back. I don’t think that the government will back down.
In the meanwhile, hundreds of trains across the country are cancelled. Tomorrow there is another ‘Bharat Bandh’. The drama unfolds …

Well said Frank sir, But other aspect, closing down old process abruptly is also not good. Both process could b continued parellely for 2-3 yrs to provide opportunity who were preparing from last few years.

Uneducated I must say, what love do they have for our country?,no words can explain what they did to our people negatively, such brainless act.
