“The death of my beloved Mother, Her Majesty The Queen, is a moment of the greatest sadness for me and all members of my family,” a statement from Queen’s son and now the new king. Buckingham Palace confirmed on Thursday that the new monarch would be known as King Charles III.

“I know her loss will be deeply felt throughout the country, the realms and the commonwealth, and by countless people around the world” Charles said in the statement.

Loss in actual sense can be felt all around the globe and almost all county’s political leader’s have shared their condolences to the royal family and the people of Britain. Many leaders have shared tweets giving tribute to the Queen.

“Passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, admired worldwide for her leadership & devotion.” U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said after the news of the death of Queen Elizabeth ii came from royal family.

He tweeted “She was a good friend to the @UN & a reassuring presence through decades of change. Her unwavering, lifelong dedication will be long remembered.”

Superpower countries U.S.A president and Russian president Vladimir Putin expressed their grief.

U.S President and First Lady shared a TWO pages long statement on the death of the queen.

“Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was more than a monarch. She defined an era.” The statement included “She was the first British monarch to whom people all around the world could feel a personal and immediate connection.” They expressed their gratitude for the close friendship the country got from the Queen, and said that they are expecting to continue the same kind of close friendship with The King and The Queen Consort, in the years ahead.

According to media reports Russian President wrote a message to Charles, Britain’s new king. Putin said the Queen “rightfully enjoyed the love and respect of her subjects, as well as authority on the world stage”, adding: “I wish you courage and resilience in the face of this difficult, irreparable loss. May I ask you to pass on sincere condolences and support to members of the royal family and the entire people of Great Britain.”

Almost leaders from all country have shared their condolences to the royal family and the people of Britain. Queen Elizabeth died at the age of 96, after completing 70 years reign as head of state for the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, her reign spanned more than a dozen U.S. presidents and nine popes.

The lights of the Eiffel Tower in Paris are turned off in honor of the Queen, the Empire State Building in New York is lit up in purple in honor of Queen Elizabeth II, the Union Jack flag is flown at half-staff outside the British Embassy in Tokyo, the American flag is flying at half-staff over the US Capitol in Washington, DC and people are giving tribute in many other ways.
