Sir,
After Uri attack and Cross LoC Surgical Strikes, China appears to take the side of Pakistan. It’s after effects are seen in newspapers, news channels and trolls on social media regarding boycotting Chinese lights for decorating the house for the festival of Diwali.
I am having one question in my mind. Why can’t Government stop exporting goods from China? Not only lights but there are many other chinese products present in the Indian market, for example- Mobile phones, toys, power plants, etc. How can government stop people from buying Chinese goods? They are cheap, it is more affordable for people.
Because of such boycott campaigns many shopkeepers and businessmen are going to make a loss as it is a festive season and almost all shopkeepers have stored Chinese lights for the sale. Those shouting for bans should think about businessmen and should also come up with an alternative for businessmen and for public which can be affordable for them.
Yours Truly,
