Call centre chaps terrorised, one raped by cabbie

BANGALORE: A cab-driver and his friend who abducted and raped a man here were arrested on Tuesday and booked under Section 377.The duo had kidnapped two call centre employees and their driver ferrying them to the graveyard shift. DCP (south-east) Rohini Katoch-Sepat said the two have confessed to the crime.

The incident took place on September 29. Two call centre employees, both men, were on their way to office at Mico Layout around 3.30am when a cab coming from the opposite direction stopped in their path. The driver of the second cab and another occupant reportedly thrust themselves into the victims’ car and told off its driver for having headlights on high beam. The driver apologised but the intruders -Kiran (29) and Satish (25) – thrashed him and the two BPO employees. They then forced the driver to a nearby ATM, where they wrested the call centre chaps’ ATM cards but flew into a rage on finding that the accounts did not have any money.

They then ordered the driver to drive to a secluded spot near Ragigudda where they stripped the three captives and raped one. They later rang up a friend, also named Satish, who picked them up. He has been arrested as well.

Two guys beat up three chaps, strip them naked and have their way with one? It’s a curious story, perhaps more details will emerge later.

So Allen Johannes is saying that men can’t be raped? Thank your lucky stars that nobody has made you take it up the butt. Common in boarding schools of the past generation i have heard. Only you would call it ‘masti’ or ‘nasty musti’… height of ignorance.

I am allowing this homopohobic and insulting remark by Allen Johannes just to show how ignorant and blind people can be. Rape is forced sexual penetration without consent, and whether the stupid remark is made by a minister or a reader, it doesn’t earn respectability. Newsnet One will continue to support LGBT rights.
