India’s Next Top Model is an adaptation of the TV reality show America’s Next Top Model. The show was judged by celebrity photographer Daboo Ratnani and Model-Actress Lisa Haydon. The contests were groomed by Neerja Gaba and mentored a VJ- Actress Anshu Dandekar. The show started with 13 faces competing for the title among which three were selected as the front- runners, and then among them Pranati Rai Prakash was crowned  the winner. Along with the title she also signed a one- year modeling contracts with certain brands and got  an opportunity to get featured in a reputed lifestyle magazine.

Pranati Rai Prakash belongs to Patna. Being an army kid she has spent her childhood in more than one city, she has spent most of her teenage years in Dehradun. She did her 10^th and 12^th from Notre Dame Academy, Patna, she says that it has played a major role in shaping her personality.

Her journey as a model started in 2012 when she won her 1^st title of May Queen after which she won several titles and there was no looking back. She is a spellbinding belly dancer and has good acting skills apart from this she is an excellent designer; she has designed for Miss India in 2015.

For her there was never a moment when she doubted her own capability. She admired Lisa Haydon and said about her “The first time I saw her on the show, I couldn’t take y eyes off her. Even when I was in the elimination round, I stared at her. I look up to her, even as a person. I feel she is the most sorted person I have met.”
