Sir
Patna, the Bihar capital should be called not ‘Jungle raj’ capital, but ‘Jungle road’ capital.
For some time now, the district administration, or shall we say the police have tried to give the Bihar capital a ‘civilised’ look by introducing traffic lights (signals).
But our Bihari bhaiyas, especially the ones who shout loudest about ‘jungle raj’ are in no mood to be disciplined, so why to obey the blinking lights when they do not obey any rules?
A traffic signal has been installed near Pani-tanki on Boring Patliputra road. Now when the signal turns red during the morning school rush, the motorists block the entire side road, instead keeping to the left side of the road. So, instead of giving way to the vehicles entering the lane on the right, these idiots block the road causing more of a traffic jam. When the light turns green, the idiots on the wrong side of the road cause an even greater mess as they want to jump the queue and go first, even though the cars opposite haven’t been able to enter the lane!
When will our so-called educated drivers in their expensive cars see the light? Jungle raj starts with the citizen who doesn’t obey the rules, it doesn’t start with the politicians!
Yours Truly,
Nivedita
