This week began with World Population Day.

It is a well known fact that the developing countries are facing a huge  population explosion. In India, just look at the way babies are popping out left and right. The maternity clinics and fertility clinics are doing brisk business.

But as population grows, living space shrinks, pressure is mounting on agriculture as well as forests. Food becomes scarce. Water diminishes.

When are we going to realize that the more babies we produce, the faster we are heading to doom and destruction?
