All Souls’ Day

All Souls’ Day

Sir

As we are very diverse, we have different religions and beliefs but I notice that almost all religion overlap with each other, their culture may be different but I will contradict by saying still, beliefs and feelings are the same.

In Hinduism people celebrate Pitrapakh, Muslims  celebrate   Shab-e-barat ,   likewise Catholic Christians celebrate All Souls Day.  In all these religions ,people who have died commemorated on  a day .

I went to the Queen of Apostles Church Kurji, Patna. There almost around 750 people gathered to observe the all Souls day on Tuesday 2nd November at around 2:30 in the afternoon.

On this day Catholic Christian people remember all their beloved ones who have died away. They came to the graveyard and decorated the graves of their relatives and family members with flowers, candles, garlands and inscene sticks. They had special masses conducted for the souls and the reverend father of the church came all around to bless and sprinkle  holy water on all the graves.

People prayed for the peace of the soul of people who died and asked blessings for the well being of the family.

So, I would conclude that religion may be different but the feeling, beliefs and love of the people are same.

Yours Truly
