These cards always tested one’s patience if it was written with an expectation of reply. As it was a symbol of affection and bonding, one would always wait for a card in reply. Those were the times when one did not just decorated them with all glitters, artistic drawings and quotes but also expected something similar in return.

As of today, people have forgotten the essence of that card and the unusual smile which was always witnessed when they were received. Online greetings somehow lack the essence those cards carried whenever they were received, back then.

Greetings card not just created memories. Whenever came, they brought a whole new “season” with them.  A season of love, affection, bonding, relationship, well wishers, as if winter or autumn arrived in our lives whenever they did.
