BHOPAL (Madhya Pradesh): Here is another ‘freak mobile tragedy’. A 7-year-old boy lost all the fingers of his right hand after a mobile phone exploded in his hands in Rajgarh district on Monday.

 

The incident took place at Bilapura village under Pachor police station of the district at 8 am.

 

Ajay, son of Hariprasad, was playing with his father’s mobile phone while it was connected for charging, said police. The phone suddenly exploded injuring boy’s hand, the police further added. t this point of time, the local media hasn’t revealed the brand of the phone.

 The parents rushed the boy to a nearby hospital from there he was referred to district hospital for treatment.

 The police said that the matter is being investigated, however, a case is yet to be registered.

 This is not the first time mobile phones have exploded in Madhya Pradesh. In June this year, the hands of a 12-year old boy were severely damaged after a mobile phone exploded in his hands in Satna district.

The incident took place at Ganjas village under Ram Nagar police station of the district.
