The education system may be under scrutiny in Bihar because of some students, but Bihar has always been the place of scholars and talent. And, it has been proved once again. “Students from Bihar have shown brilliant performance in academics and campus placements 2015” is what Chandigarh campus people are saying.

Be it the academic results in board examination, capturing top positions in University or in campus recruitment by Multi-Nationals, students from Bihar state have proved themselves in every field.

More than 240 students of Engineering, Management and Hotel Management from Bihar have managed to get 316 offer letters from top  MNCs like Microsoft, IBM, Google, Amazon, Wipro, Cognizant, Bank of America and others during campus placements 2015, which is about 80% higher than the placements held in 2014.

More than 42 students like Prateek Sinha, Mohd. Khaleed, Rajat Mishra has been selected by multiple of MNCs.

Chandigarh University has formulated a special scholarship scheme for meritorious students of Bihar so that they are able to continue their studies and pursue higher education without any hassles.

It has been announced that, any 10+2 or Graduation passing-out student of any stream with 80% or above can apply for academic scholarship upto 100% at Chandigarh University. As a mark of respect towards the Defence Personnel, Chandigarh University announced 5% seats reserved in every course offered at university for the wards of serving defence officers. The University also announced academic scholarship up to 25% for the children of the security/military/para-military forces who will be seeking admission in the various courses offered by the Chandigarh University.

With an endeavour to provide international academic exposure, research opportunities and international placements, it has achieved yet another milestone and has become North India’s first university to have signed partnership with more than 100 top ranking international universities from all across the globe.

Chandigarh University have partnered with 100 universities in which more than 36 Universities have QS World Rankings and are ranked among the top 700 Universities of the World.

More than 150 scholarships have been offered by the partner universities in USA, UK, Canada, Australia and European Union to the students of Chandigarh Universities in different fields under which more than 500 students have applied for the summer internship and semester exchange programs.
